It's finally here! As our Event and Grant Specialist would say, "It's one of the greatest day of the year!"
On Sept. 17th we will be hosting our annual Day for Kids STEAMfest at The Promenade Shops at Centerra in Loveland. This event is free, open to the public and fun for all ages. Literally, even all you adults will have a ball!
Day for Kids is a national initiative that invites you to join Boys & Girls Clubs in making a difference for kids in your community. For more than a decade, adults have participated in Day for Kids events all over the country to advocate for youth and celebrate the life-changing work taking place at Boys & Girls Clubs. In Larimer County, we celebrate by providing a FREE day of fun and S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) activities for families living in and around Larimer County!
STEAMfest will consist of hands-on educational activities, information about local vendors, and awesome experiences provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County.
This year, we will even have a special performance by the Loveland Unit's Step Team. I've seen a sneak preview, and it's something you won't want to miss.
So grab your friends, your kids, and anyone else you can think of and join us the 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m!
